Careers Day at IBV

Tomorrow’s future is in the hands of today’s children. That’s why IBV Systems opened its doors for Girls’ Careers Day.

Whether it be daughters, nieces, female friends or granddaughters, Girls’ Careers Day gives girls the opportunity to gain insight into many different areas such as craft, science, technology, engineering and IT professions. Thus, several enterprises and establishments like IBV GmbH opened their doors to allow interested female students to quench their thirst for knowledge, and discover as well as try out their talents. One of these inquisitive students is Mareike Leder. She spent Girls’ Careers’ Day on March, 27th 2014 at IBV Systems, where she was able to see and, most importantly, get a close look on many different aspects, such as a company portrait.  Furthermore, she witnessed the presentation of a current aerospace project involving IBV GmbH, entitled “Asteroid Lander”. Last but not least, Mareike was also able to try out soldering for the first time – undoubtedly an exciting technology-filled day for her.
